Growie ("the App") respects your privacy and complies with applicable data protection laws.

1. Information We Handle

(1) Information you enter — stored on your device only

  • Child's name (nickname), date of birth, gender, height and weight records, memos, profile photo

This information is stored solely in the App's private storage on your device. It is never transmitted to our servers, and we cannot access it.

(2) Information collected automatically — to improve the service

  • Usage statistics (screen views, feature usage counts), app version, device language and region settings
  • App preferences (unit system, growth reference standard), age range and count range of registered children
  • Error and performance data (startup time, crashes)
  • An anonymous per-installation identifier (app instance ID) — it cannot identify you personally and is not shared with other apps
  • Advertising identifier — used for statistical analysis only, never for advertising
  • Collected via: Firebase Analytics, Firebase Performance Monitoring (Google LLC)

The App does not display advertisements. Our analytics tool may access your device's advertising identifier for statistical purposes. It is never used to serve or personalize ads, and is never shared with advertising partners. You can reset the advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads at any time in your device settings.

2. Purpose of Use

  • Providing child growth tracking and growth percentile analysis
  • Improving app features, analyzing errors, and stabilizing performance

3. Retention and Deletion

  • On-device data: Deleted immediately when you remove it in the App or uninstall the App.
  • Automatically collected data: Retained for up to 14 months from collection, then automatically deleted.

4. Processors and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information or provide it to third parties. We use the following service providers:

5. International Transfers

The automatically collected data described in 1-(2) is processed outside your country:

If you do not wish this to occur, you may stop using and uninstall the App.

6. Children's Privacy

  • The App is a tool for parents and legal guardians to record their child's growth.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).
  • Information about a child is entered by the guardian and remains on the guardian's device.
  • If we learn that a child has directly provided personal information, we will delete it without delay.

7. Your Rights

  • Access, correction, deletion: Available directly within the App at any time.
  • Full deletion: Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all records.
